Lawyers  peacefully March in Harare’s CBD in a March dubbed MARCH FOR JUSTICE against human rights abuses and unjust prosecution and persecution of Political Activists. Whilst the government claimed that opposition MDC and some NGO’s including Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights(ZLHR) were to blame for the national shutdown, Chief justice Luke Malaba commended the lawyers for representing the victims. At the end of January the country’s judiciary was handling as many as 1055 cases related to the national stay-away violent skirmishes.
